Frederick L. Smith
Meet Pastor Frederick l. Smith
Transforming Lives, Building Community, Living Abundantly
Pastor Frederick Smith’s mission is straightforward: to help every person he meets embrace the fullness of life that God has planned for them. He believes that everyone deserves to experience an abundant life, free from the barriers that can hold us back spiritually, socially, and economically. With over a decade of pastoral leadership, he brings a heartfelt commitment to transformation within our community.
His Journey
A native of Hope, Arkansas, Frederick committed to serving God as a young boy at Canaan Baptist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas. He answered the call to ministry early, preaching his first sermon at the age of nine under his father’s pastoral leadership. These formative years shaped the leadership skills he now utilizes as a father, pastor, and community leader.
His Expertise
With a Master of Sacred Theology from the Chicago Theological Seminary, Frederick blends deep theological understanding with practical, life-changing ministry. As a certified Transformational Life Coach, certified in Relational Intelligence, and a certified Vision Strategist, he specializes in helping people discover and develop their God-given potential. He is also a devotional author, sharing insights that inspire and guide others on their spiritual journeys.
His Calling Beyond the Pulpit
Frederick's ministry extends well beyond Sunday mornings. As a chaplain for Tyson Foods, he meets people where they work, providing spiritual care in everyday settings. His passion for removing obstacles to abundant living drives everything he does, from the pulpit to the community.
Together with his wife, he founded Ginomai—a personal and leadership development firm that guides leaders, families, and students toward new perspectives that reveal untapped potential in the home, ministry, marketplace, and community. He also serves as a culture curator coach, assisting nonprofits and churches in developing strong, faith-informed leadership.
Frederick’s commitment to community is evident in his mentorship of young people and his involvement in movements advocating for biblical justice. He believes that faith without action is incomplete.
At home, Frederick is a devoted husband to Dr. Cemeka Agugbuem Smith and a proud father of three sons. His family keeps him grounded and serves as a daily reminder of the joy found in God’s abundant blessings.
